Okay, so you’ve decided to make a quick, or at least thinking about it. You make the first step is research. Good for you! A juice fast is a great thing to do for your body. Update it and charge it. Fasting is not as difficult as some may make it seem. Just follow these simple steps in preparation for Lent. You have to prepare, please do not just dive in.
First you need to get the support of your significant. . others. Explain to them why you want to do this. Give them reasons and inform them about the benefits of this. This step is very important and vital to your success with a juice fast. Without this support, you can fall off the wagon, especially if this is your first time.
Buy a juicer. You do not need anything fancy or expensive, just one that does the job. Check out your local Target, Walmart or Kmart. Even Amazon. com.
Clean out the fridge of all the bad things. Everything that you think can track you. You do not need that stuff around anyway. This can be difficult if you live with a family.
To prepare the system for a juice fast you need a minimum of 5 days. This is how long it takes the body to get rid of most of the bad food you’ve eaten. During this time you will be eating only raw fruits and vegetables. By doing this is to give your body a chance to clean out before the rapid and repair itself. Eat as much as you want during those five days, but be sure to have variety so you do not get bored.
also buy some regular tea. Yogi sell a large one. Peach Detox or Fasting tea. Smooth Move tea is also great. (This is the one I use) These are loaded with herbs to clean out the system.
Go shopping! Try to buy as much organic as you can afford. If you can not that’s okay too. Just buy some veggie and fruit wash or apple cider vinegar to wash produce.
Start with vegetables. Buy just the basics for your first fast. These include carrots, celery, romaine lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cucumbers, peppers and everything else you might want.
Next choose fruit. Have fun! The only fruits you can not have is citrus fruits. They contain too much acid. Try some new things during this time. Mango and pineapple are good, as are all types of berries. You can make fruit salads and filled up quickly.
Do not forget to buy lemons! This is the main fruit you can buy. Lemons does wonders during a fast. Lemons are a natural cleanser. Drink hot water with the juice of half a lemon every morning. It kick-starts the system charges you up!
Bring all your produce home. Clean and cut into ready to eat portions. This will make it easy to eat. Prevents you from getting lazy and eat something you should not. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Your produce can last up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
Some say having a plan for what to eat. For me this is a lot of work just to prepare. Eat what you feel. You can have as much as you want so enjoy.

I propose to be near a bathroom when drinking tea. It will take a toll on your system. Some people get a lot of cramping, along with very loose stools. . . This is a good thing.

You can not drink the juice from the supermarket. You need fresh squeezed juice from your home.
You may find yourself extra tired, take a nap to recharge
