How To Lose Weight – Jump Start Diet For Week 1

We all want to lose weight. Here is my “jumpstart” diet for Week 1 of my diet. It gives you a diet to follow from morning through mid-afternoon snack. I like it because it has enough variety for me and generally keeps me full (which is tough to do!) Even when I exercise 4-5 days a week. It also does not require shopping for lots of groceries

1.
Breakfast -. . You can have a hi-fiber / hi-protein cereal once or twice as a substitute for sandwich if you’re running short on time
Egg Ham Sandwich
-. 1/2 cup Egg white Product
-1 Slice lean ham
-1 Slice whole wheat toast halved
Use a small amount of butter (less than 1/4 of a stroke), fry eggs in what is left over after frying ham. Light butter bread if you want

Morning Snack -. . Fruit.

Lunch -. Spinach Salad. Here are some of my favorite varieties that keep it fresh for me. There are a couple of “standards” in salads as almonds and pita chips to cut down on the number of ingredients you need.
Spinach, pears, shaved parmesan, sliced ​​roasted almonds, small handful of pita chips crushed over the top with Goddess Dressing.

-Small Handful raw whole almonds, or let yourself once or twice a week to have a Lara Bar if you’re still very hungry

Dinner-I know they always say eat something sensible, just make sure you have a protein and vegetables and a small portion of carbohydrates, shoot at anything that brown or wild rice or whole wheat pasta.

Tips and Warnings

I buy a lot of my groceries at Trader Joe’s. Things like fresh parmesan, fresh mozzarella, baby spinach greens and several are generally cheaper than at my local supermarket.
I buy egg whites product from Costco that I have found is the least expensive. Trader Joe’s whites product is also reasonably priced compared to the more famous “Egg Beaters” brand.
I buy Lara Bars at Costco, they also have them for a good price at Trader Joe’s. If you have not either try a health food store.
This is just a “starter diet” and not meant for long term use. Also of course, if you have any existing medical conditions this may not be for you, or if you feel ridiculously hungry, certainly not starve yourself!
