It is not difficult to eat health for life. It just takes a little planning and thought. Consciously think about what you put in your mouth will help you narrow down the bad food you eat and let you develop a healthy lifestyle. A good healthy diet and a simple exercise program will put you on your way, so you can eat healthy for life

Eat plenty of fresh vegetables. The darker the color, the more vitamins and minerals it contains. It also means that vegetables are a great source of antioxidants. In addition to dark green vegetables such as broccoli and spinach, the orange-colored vegetables are good choices, including sweet potatoes, carrots and squash.

Choose healthy fats. Yes, you read that right: fat. Healthy fats are an important part of a healthy diet. Try olive oil, avocados, nuts and fish, like salmon for omega-3 fatty acids.

Look for foods that contain whole grains, such as whole wheat, barley, millet and oats. Whole-wheat pasta can take some getting used to, but your body will benefit from not eating refined grains such as white flour. And instead of boxed selection of cereals, try old-fashioned oatmeal or brown rice.

Do not start any kind of exercise program or drastically change your eating habits without talking it over with your doctor.
