Many turn to cleanse to rid the body of toxins or other unwanted buildup. But most cleansing diets leave you unfulfilled and unsatisfied. Try these alternatives treatment and keep toned figure without sacrificing your diet
Fiber
To keep you full and satisfied, fill up on foods rich in fiber. Self Magazine, one women’s health magazine, says, “soluble fiber in oats and beans are filling, and it helps draw cholesterol out of the bloodstream, it moves through the digestive tract.” Plain completely natural oatmeal is a good breakfast choice as it will keep you full for several hours. For lunch, add black beans or chickpeas in salads. If you’re hungry for a snack, try an apple with a tablespoon of organic peanut butter, which has enough fiber and keep you full for several hours.
lean Protein
Lean protein like boneless chicken breast, lean ground turkey and tofu are all good choices to maintain a clean diet. For sandwiches, try leanest. cuts of turkey and ham look at ingredient labels though, there are hidden culprits as high fructose corn syrup and high amounts of sodium. Both will wreck havoc on your clean diet. Wild Salmon is another good protein choice because it is full of healthy fats that will make you full and satisfied.
No Sugar
White sugar, brown sugar and honey are fine in moderation, but it’s, it’s important to stay away from them all together. Self Magazine says to stay away from sugar and high fructose corn syrup or dextrose because “Consuming too much of it also promotes inflammation, which may increase the risk of heart disease and certain cancers, and you feel foggy and tired.” Instead, eat fruit which is a natural source of sugar.
Green Tea
Let the coffee back and drink tea instead. Numerous studies have looked at the positive effects of green tea on a person’s diet. New York Times says, “Some studies have suggested that regular tea drinking is associated with lower weight, especially in people who drink it for years. Green tea specifically has been associated with increased energy consumption. lowfat Yogurt
lowfat yogurt is another good snack option because it will provide the recommended daily intake of calcium and is a smart choice carbohydrate. Check the nutrition label to see if the hidden ingredients like high fructose corn syrup or dextrose before eating yogurt. Opt for organic / all-natural, lowfat versions if possible as they will be free of chemicals and artificial sweeteners.
